Introduction of RDC


Rural Development Centre (RDC) Nepal is a non-governmental, non-political and non-profitable organization established in June 2002 registering at District Administration Office (DAO) in Rautahat.

It has affiliation with Social Welfare Council (SWC) and NGOCC and Madhesi NGO Federation Rautahat. It has got registered at Internal Revenue Department of Tax office Simra, Bara. RDC Nepal has been established to carry out different activities focusing on the welfare of children, youths and women, health and education, water and sanitation, sustainable environment, livelihood, income generation activities, disaster management, conflict, information and technology and other critical issues and right based issues.

The RDC Nepal has been working in rural areas for Dalit, ethnic, marginalized and deprived families, communities and children, youths and women.

RDC Nepal has experienced people with technical skills dedicated to the field of social and community development work. The RDC Nepal has team members with experiences in children and community development approaches. Its members have developed experience on water and sanitation, health, education, child rights and youth promotion, livelihood, conflict affected children, women empowerment, critical issues, information and technology, building relationship and right based issues.

The advisors for RDC Nepal are University Post-Graduate. They also possess sound professional experience of NGOs and INGOs level. Some trained technical person will contribute to the organization as part-time staff when necessary. A learning and positive organization culture, team approach, participatory decision-making practices, financial transparency and accountability and timeliness with a high quality of performance are the norms followed by the RDC Nepal.
